🌱 RBG Mentorship & Youth

Though she carried the weight of history, Ruth Bader Ginsburg never stopped encouraging the next generation. She often met with law students, interns, and young advocates, sharing advice that blended humility with quiet fire.

She told them to “be steady, and be hopeful.” To do the work — even when the progress seemed slow — and to let intellect and integrity guide their path. Her mentorship reached beyond law: she wanted young people, especially girls, to believe they could belong anywhere decisions are made.

Ginsburg’s legacy in mentorship endures through countless programs and scholarships that bear her name, cultivating the very change she fought for in her lifetime.

💡 Little Known Fun Fact: RBG often handwrote congratulatory notes to young women who became judges or won advocacy awards — even into her 80s. Many recipients still treasure those cards as lifelong keepsakes.
