Call to Action

Make Some Good Trouble

Real change doesn’t come from the sidelines — it starts when one of us steps forward. Make Some Good Trouble is born from the wisdom of John Lewis (and echoed in Cory Booker’s filibuster), reminding us that “good trouble, necessary trouble” can help redeem the soul of America.

Here you’ll discover resources, inspiration, and gear to fuel your journey of resistance and renewal. The time to act is now — but you don’t have to walk this path alone. Connect, learn, and join in the work.

Make Some Good Trouble

Here you will find Resources which include events, organizations, social media groups and YouTube channels that are involved in good trouble making.

We created a Hall of Fame of twelve inspiring individuals from the present and past to share stories to inspire others to make some good trouble. Due to that fact that there’s many more than twelve notable good trouble makers, we’ve included the Justice League.

The Justice League acknowledges Good Trouble Makers around the globe in the following categories: Top 20 United States, Top 20 Worldwide and the latest wing of the Justice League, Defending U.S. Democracy.

There’s also great gear at GoodTroubleMakersGear.com for Defenders of Democracy:
Because kindness is a radical act worth wearing. Wear your courage. Share your voice.

Hall of Fame & Justice League

The phrase “Good Trouble” was elevated by civil rights hero John Lewis: “Get in good trouble, necessary trouble, and help redeem the soul of America.” It’s an invitation — to act with courage and conscience, to challenge injustice thoughtfully, and to pursue meaningful change. Here, we carry forward that spirit: we encourage everyone to Make Some Good Trouble — to speak up, stand tall, and shape a fairer, more inclusive world.
